Introduction, Ramblings, & Goals for 2025

Full disclaimer, I am not a writer. Most of my blog posts will be me talking my microphones ear off into my notes and docs and providing it to my tailored and trusted AI writer "Jeff" while I act as editor as I honestly think he does a better job than me.
A Years Closing
Every January feels like a whispered invitation to take stock. It’s a strange ritual—looking back at the previous year while planning for the next, trying to balance the weight of reflection with the lightness of hope. But 2025 feels different. This year, I don’t just want growth; I want transformation. Not incremental improvement, but exponential change—a reimagining of who I am and what I’m capable of.
When I rewind to this time last year, I see someone standing on the edge of a precipice. January 3rd, 2024, marked the start of what felt like a freefall: a job and relationship ended almost simultaneously, leaving me with an uncomfortable amount of blank space to fill. It’s easy now to romanticize that moment as a clean slate, but truthfully, it felt more like staring into a void. What I didn’t know then was that this void was fertile ground—a place where I could redefine myself, not through erasure, but creation.
The Rebirth of a Career
My first steps were clumsy. I created an LLC, slapped together a website, and began telling people I was offering AI & sales consultation services to little success. I realize now I spent too much time tweaking fonts and not enough refining my value proposition. But these missteps weren’t wasted. They taught me about the gap between vision and execution and how easy it is to get lost in the aesthetics of progress without building substance. I think for most entrepreneurs this is inevitable and necessary as a step in their journey but you cannot stay there for long. You need to always be self-reflecting to identify what is needing change.
The turning point came when I leaned into my network. People I had worked with years earlier became my lifeline for this endeavor, offering me small opportunities that eventually snowballed into substantial projects. By midyear, I had landed two retainer clients. One of those projects grew so quickly that I found myself in a fractional leadership role, overseeing a team and making decisions that shaped the trajectory of an eight-figure business.
It wasn’t just professional growth, though. This process changed me personally. I’ve always battled imposter syndrome—setting impossibly high benchmarks and then berating myself for not clearing them. But something shifted as I started making real, measurable impact. I stopped viewing leadership as a role I had to “earn” and started treating it as a space I already occupied. That subtle mental pivot has been transformative.
The World Dream
Parallel to this professional evolution was a quieter, more personal milestone: the acquisition of a second passport. For years, I had dreamed of living a nomadic life, untethered from one place or rigid structure. But I hesitated, convinced that such freedom required a level of stability I hadn’t yet achieved.
2024 proved me wrong. By diversifying my income streams and building relationships based on trust and performance with the clients I have, I created a foundation sturdy enough to support mobility. Though this wasn’t just about finances; it was about purpose. I’ve seen too many people drift aimlessly while chasing the romance of travel. I wanted my journey to feel intentional, anchored by meaningful work and personal growth.
This year, I’m making that dream a reality. I plan to spend extended periods in Europe, not as a tourist but as someone actively building a life across borders. The challenge will be balancing exploration with routine—a delicate dance that demands discipline and adaptability.
Elevating Through AI
The professional core of my life remains AI, a field that feels as boundless as it is intimidating. My relationship with this technology is deeply personal. I see AI not just as a tool for efficiency but as a mirror reflecting our own potential. It challenges us to automate the mundane so we can focus on what truly matters.
In 2020, I began experimenting with AI systems to augment my own capabilities. By automating tasks like appointment setting and follow-ups, I freed myself to concentrate on high-value activities like strategy and sales. This isn’t about replacing human effort; it’s about amplifying it. For example, I designed an AI-powered sales pipeline that eliminates cold outreach, allowing top-tier salespeople to focus solely on closing deals. This system became a magnet for talent—high-performing professionals wanted in because it created an environment where they could thrive without unnecessary friction.
For 2025, my vision is to scale this concept further. I want to build systems so robust that they become the gold standard for integrating AI into sales and marketing. But more than that, I want to teach others to do the same. Education is a cornerstone of this year’s plan. I’m developing courses, webinars, and certifications aimed at helping entrepreneurs and businesses leverage AI effectively.
Shaping the Story
Beyond the technical, there’s another skill I’m determined to master this year: storytelling. Writing, speaking, and communicating have never been my strongest suits, but I recognize their power. In a world increasingly mediated by AI, the ability to connect authentically with others will only grow in value.
I’m using this blog as a practice ground—a place to articulate my thoughts, refine my ideas, and build confidence as a storyteller. Eventually, I’d like to turn these reflections into a book. The concept is still forming, but it will likely center on the philosophy that has guided me since my early twenties: reaching for the sun, knowing that even failure leaves you among the stars.
This philosophy underpins everything I do. It’s why I set unreasonable goals and chase them relentlessly. It’s why I refuse to settle for comfort, even when it feels tempting. And it’s why I believe this year holds extraordinary potential.
Navigating Challenges
Of course, none of this will come easily. If there’s one thing 2024 taught me, it’s that growth is inherently uncomfortable. Building systems, scaling businesses, and expanding my personal brand will require constant recalibration. I’ll need to guard against burnout, maintain focus in the face of distraction, and stay grounded as opportunities multiply.
But I’m ready for it. More than ready. For the first time in years, I feel like I’m not just reacting to life but actively shaping it. This sense of agency is both empowering and humbling—empowering because it reveals what’s possible, humbling because it reminds me how much work remains.
The Bigger Picture and Sign Off
At its core, for me, this year is about creating alignment. Alignment between my values and my actions, between my ambitions and my resources, between the life I dream of and the one I live. It’s about using technology not as an end but as a means—an enabler of deeper connections, richer experiences, and more meaningful work.
I know I won’t achieve everything on my list. But that’s not the point. The point is to keep striving, to keep reaching, to keep growing. Because in the end, even if you don't hit the sun you strive for, you'll find yourself surrounded by stars at a level you couldn't even perceive before.
Here’s to 2025—the year of transformation, momentum, and unyielding pursuit.
